We are excited to share Stacey’s newest original painting, “Eleven Roses. It is 18 x 24” on gallery wrapped canvas with the scene continuing around its edges, inviting you to experience it from every angle. (No frame is needed.)
This painting is full of symbolism, beauty and whimsy. The pink roses represent aspects of self-love in various stages of growth and the bottle of rosewater is for reducing stress and anxiety (especially important in these times.)The budding yellow roses symbolize new friendships blossoming quietly alongside self-love.
Eleven roses were chosen because the number eleven helps with divine alignment and harmony. Think of it as the alignment of self love on new levels. Additionally Stacey painted an abstract geometric underpainting beneath the floral painting to support the concept of self love aligning along with peace. (see image below)
A whimsical style unfolded as she progressed with this painting. Hopefully this will help all who view it to smile and open to more joy and happiness in their day.
The background is done in abstract expressionism; portraying warmth, light and reflection. The soft, harmonious palette reinforces the gentle nature of the flowers and the quiet narrative they hold.
NOTE: This is the only time Stacey plans to paint abstract geometry or any other painting under an original painting due to the amount of hours it takes.
